This form is designed for use on projects of a more complex nature, where there are extensive quantities of materials to be estimated and where there are multiple uses of the same calculations to determine quantities of materials.

Example: The square foot calculation for a concrete slab on grade also provides the quantity for trowel finish, fine grading, reinforcing mesh, floor hardener, porous fill, and vapor barrier. By using the same square foot area to complete the calculations for each item, allowing for the appropriate differences such as conversion to cubic yards or tons or waste factors, considerable estimating time can be saved.
